Unlike the current French scene, which is known for its avant-gardeisms, the early scene was known for raw, yet eerily melodic black metal. This album is the paragon of that style. An incredibly safe purchase that will give much return. Favorite track: Vampiric Warmaster part II.

Ocyale I was so happy that this masterpiece finally appeared in Bandcamp to be purchased (for some reason the other one was not).

I appreciate the naturally flowing integrity of Dor-Nu-Fauglith. Even if I consider DVB excellent in vox, this release has its character from VD. All the tracks are riff-rich and keyboards give medieval feel. Nothing sounds off.

This album is in the same part near to my heart as Hirilorn's coeval. Favorite track: Whisper of the Witch.

Released 22 years ago in December 1997, long time sold out, Osculum Infame legendary debut album « Dor Nu Fauglith » which seemed to be lost but not forgotten as an official reissue has been highly expected for years.
